Listings that are allowed but regulated
Some categories are allowed but carry restrictions. You are responsible for compliance:
- Children's products. Must not be on a current recall list. Must meet applicable CPSIA, mattress, and labeling requirements.
- Car seats. Allowed only if unexpired, never in a crash, and with the original manual and label. Highly regulated by jurisdiction; check before listing.
- Used electronics. Disclose any known defects. Wipe personal data before transfer.
- Used kitchenware. Disclose chips, cracks, or coating wear.
Taxes and reporting
You are responsible for determining whether your sales are taxable and for reporting income as required by federal, state, and local law. GoFindStuff does not provide tax advice. If we process payments on your behalf in the future, we will issue tax forms (e.g., 1099-K) consistent with then-current IRS and state thresholds.
